Standards

Oakfield Nursing Home is fully registered by HIQA and our inspection reports can be viewed at http://www.hiqa.ie/social-care/find-a-centre/nursing-homes/oakfield-nursing-home

We strive to exceed the National Quality Standards for Residential Care Settings for Older People in Ireland introduced in 2009 by HIQA (The Health Information & Quality Authority), by using them as a bench mark for the services we provide.

These standards address the areas of the rights of older people; protection; health and social care needs; quality of life; staffing; the care environment; and management and governance.  Regular inspections ensure that we are in compliance with them and are always providing the best standards of care.

We suggest that all prospective residents and their families should visit Oakfield to view the facilities and meet key personnel.
